  1. T-style, nitro, shell pink, relic'ed, w/ fender MIM neck, Seymour Duncan antiquities pickups, aged hardware... very cool The neck does have some fretwear. It's a neck I've used on several builds. The guitar was put together from parts I had in my possession to create content for www.MojoCaster.com and was therefore never really played. Pics on www.GuitPics.com are here: http://mojocaster.com/photos/shellpinkt/phpslideshow.php Video w/ this guitar: http://mojotwanger.wordpress.com/2009/11/04/jamey-johnson-that-lonesome-song/ Asking price: $800 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kentucky F-style mandolin, KM-675, includes a great case to protect it. I've played it about 3 hours, used on some recordings. Nice flames on the back and neck. Video of this mandolin: http://mojotwanger.wordpress.com/2009/11/04/blaze-foley-clay-pigeons/ Pics of this mandolin: http://mojocaster.com/photos/mando/phpslideshow.php Asking price: $699 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I bought this Ovation iDea guitar... it comes w/ a special preamp that includes an MP3 player AND recorder. So you can have an MP3 of a backing track, play it through headphones or an amp, and play along and sing. I bought it recently for a project that didn't materialized, so I don't need it anymore. I didn't actually play it for more than maybe 10 minutes. Since I have another two Ovations, I don't need a third Here's a well-made video demo of the guitar so that you can get a better idea of what it can do: VX8dUJIS_8o These guitars sold for $599 new, I am selling mine for $275. It comes double-boxed w/ all the original packing material and goodies, such as headphones, free lesson pass, etc... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trade possibilities: Mostly looking for a Taylor NS series, but will listen to offers. Always interested in guitars from Tom Anderson, Scott Lentz, Gerard Melancon, Don Grosh, Jim Soloway, Bill Crook, etc... Prefer Fender scale, but will listen Partial trades - your gear + cash for my gear - always welcome No need for amps No need for pointy/shred guitars No need for most trem-equipped guitars IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. Shipping costs not included in listed prices. 2. If you want to use Paypal, you pick up the 3% surcharge. 3. I cannot add cash to any trade scenario. 4. Yes, I will trade several of mine for one of yours 5. located in Southern Maine
  2. A guitar popped up that I am very interested in acquiring, so I am placing my Atom up for sale. While I will consider trades, I am more interested in a straight sale. Comes w/ an extra Tom Anderson bridge HB and the original case & fretboard protector. ASKING PRICE: $2350 Shipped and Paypaled to the CONUS For trades, I am not interested in amps, but I would listen to offers on guitars, especially: 1. Boutique luthiers (Koll, Thorn, Lentz, Crook, Collings... you know the list!) 2. Fat necks! 3. ES-335 or 339-like guitars 4. Cool LPs or other 2HB guitars 5. Nothing pointy or Floydy 6. Not as interested in P90s right now, but I'll listen Pics of the Atom: More here: http://mojocaster.com/photos/atom/phpslideshow.php Pic of the sheet: Video of the Atom: http://mojocaster.wordpress.com/2010/01/22/tom-anderson-atom-review-quilted-maple-top-swart-ast/
  3. Not sure why I am doing this, and I elect the right to come to my senses and delete this at any time Anyway, I have this Nik Huber Dolphin Jr. and she's not getting played because I since then acquired a Thorn Jr 90. I know, oh, the hardship. I have no problem with keeping the Huber, as she is quite delightful in her own right. This said, I'd like what else is out there. The Huber: (Trade value: $2500 - Sale price: $2199!) Korina everything Gibson scale (the only one made by Nik in Korina w/ a gibby scale) Haussel P90, tapped (push/pull tone knob) Hardshell case Pretty much pristine Nice fat neck Video reviews: http://mojocaster.wordpress.com/category/guitar-review-videos/huber-guitars/ Pics: http://mojocaster.com/photos/huberjr/phpslideshow.php The Huber: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I want: 1. A Bose L1 + cash 2. Guitars from Koll, Artinger, Thorn, Huber, DTM, Grosh, Lentz, Soloway, Melancon et all +/- cash as appropriate... but fat necks are preferred! 3. A Gibson 339 or 336 + cash (fat necks only) 4. Recording gear + cash 5. Surprise me (dangerous words right there...) What I don't want: 1. No amps... thanks. 2. No shredder, pointy guitars. Really. 3. No strat, unless the money you add is ridiculously high, or it's a hardtail. 4. Nothing with a Floyd. I may be able to coexist with a Bigsby. 5. Nothing with fake - or real, for that matter - blood spatter on it 6. Trade partner NOT located in the CONUS Rules of the game: 1. All offers via PM, please. 2. Post pics. The more pics, the better! 3. Sound and video clips are always welcome. 4. Your estimated trade value. 5. An accurate description of the gear, i.e. any mod, break, scractch, repair, fretwear, blemish, etc... Let's have fun! So... what do you have?

  13. I see... but don't you have to be careful with how hard you push the strings? You gotta be able to get some microtonal stuff, like in Indian music
