Members studdhuss
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ESP-LTD-EC400VF?sku=512884 I played one of these fine guitars at Sam Ash just the other day.The Flame top was stunning and the whole guitar just felt Great, Played Great, the neck was solid. The Hardware is better and does not seem to need upgrades. The Pickups are JB and '59,the tuners are Grover mini buttonThe Bridge is a Gotoh/Tone Pro (non locking) I just think this guitar reams the Epiphone LP Custom. For the difference in quality at the same price I just can't see buying the Epiphone over the LTD.Opinions? Members trill
That does look pretty fantastic. If I were in the market for an LP-style, I'd be on it.

Members peavey_impact
I agree. I owned a Epi LPC briefly and while it was pretty nice the LTD's are much more comfy, and sound better stock.
Members sirkonks
I agree. I also prefer the Schecter Tempest custom over the Epi also.
Members Mandooks
I own one and totally agree with you. It plays better than the Epiphone LP Customs IMO. I actually played the Epi Custom and placed an order for the silverburst a few months back. The guitar was on backorder so I cancelled my order and found this while looking for a silverburst at a different shop for a pretty good price. I think I payed about $20 bucks more than the MF price with a hard case.

Members curseoftruth
I've played one, did little for me. Didn't like the neck or body size. Not a Les Paul width. Sounded pretty good though.

Members Singin' Dave
You disgust me with your perfect guitar and your cheap prices. Bah! Humbug! Fairly lucky BIN, but they are out there. I basically set my limit at $650 for a Heritage LP and waited a couple monthsm looking them up regularly. Lucked out with this one though - the finish is unreal and it plays beautifully. It is however, H140, so it's a bit thinner and lighter than your average LP. But still beefy tone-wise! Killer axe. Members scampi
totally agree with the op, eats the epi up with the difference in stock pickups alone, the epi never makes it out of the gate on this one
