Not only is her playing simply amazing, I think that's the perfect tone to come out of a Strat (even though in this case it's a copy).

That playing was awesome, I wish I could do stuff like that :thu:

The only thing that ruins that strat imo is the headstock. My personal favourite strat tone is Hendrix Live at Berkeley :)

This here? Its a DEAD COPY of the Doobie Brother's Listen to the Music! Straight from the book, nothing difficult, nothing added or deleted? Tone is a clean Strat? So-So.

Yup, and that's why I liked it :) Sometimes simplicity just works. In my opinion strat's best tonal quality is that funky quack, for OD tones I look for a different guitar.

May I submit:

Those harmonics he gets on the second solo are unreal.

Also, how do you embed the youtube clip in the post. I was trying but couldn't quite figure it out.

Eric Johnson was the king of that G3 if you ask me. S.R.V. and Manhattan were more impressive than the stuff by Satch and Vai.

Hit the quote button on a post that has an embedded YouTube clip and you will find that all that is needed is the string after the =
