Considering we seem to have more than enough to fund a replacement guitar for drawdeep.We could go the percentage route, as suggested by Dave earlier. Or since we have more than enough, we could cap the donation amount per person to, say $15 (or whatever amount is sufficient to get the guitar), ie (guitar cost / number of contributors). I guess it's a bit more of an egalitarian approach, but since we have all the funds we need for the stated purpose, there really is no reason for someone to chip in any extra.Did that make sense? Yes this makes sense and is a fair way to do it too.But in the end you will still have to use the same math and percentage problems to figure it out. I definitely agree with the cap idea. I think we can get plenty of money with 20.00 (max) and of course pledging less than that is still very appreciated. So we can use BOTH ideas together. 20.00 cap(max ) sound good? I can repair the broken guitar for a future giveaway and I can also do a super duper set-up (fret level/polish/ nut work, all that crap) on the new guitar so it's absolutely perfect if that's what is wanted.
