If you're playing covers, you just want the name to be catchy, and non offensive. That will get you more gigs. Nothing worse than someone coming up to you during a break asking if you play private parties and then asks the name of your band and you say "Dirty Britches". Played in a college band that was essentially called "Angry Dick" though in a slightly more colorful way.
