Members goldenhose
I wanna do the reverse head stock thing. Since my guitar is lefty it would be easy to find a righty neck. Is it a simple bolt on install? I think the Dick Dale signature model strat did that. Never hear surf music again
Members chevette
should be a simple swap

Members Wyatt
Yeah, they should swap right out. You'll have to change the bridge setup for the right intonation if your going to do the full Dick dale thing and use it strung upside-down. You can't flip the nut as the cut will be wrong, a new nut will be required unless as Wyatt says you string it upside down

Not half as embarrassing as something I've just thought of? Corian is rigid, it is the same stuff that countertops are made off. However, it is much less dense than bone and easier to work with (cut and file). It is a durable substitute for bone and very popular with techs. I stick with unbleached bone. My experience with brass nuts have all been negative, which I believe is why they fell out of fashion as fast as they came into fashion.
