Someone bought it like that, I wouldn't have knowing that I'm not the handy kind http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/other-les-pauls/20711-orville-gold-top-suggestions.html Weird thing is that this guy already has close to 80 LP clones
Members docjeffrey
You can gig a guitar for 20+ years and not beat it up. The finish may dull and the metal parts might show their age, but it is possible to play a guitar for many years and not bash the crap out of it. To me, most relics look like guitars that have been horribly abused and neglected, and that just pisses me off when people do that to their instruments. Here's my 38 year-old Martin D-18. I bought it new for $360 when I was in high school. It's been played, but I have not beat it up too bad. Yes, that fretboard and headstock veneer are made from Brazilian Rosewood.
