Members rayboomboom
Very sad day for drumming history and music. His and Jaimoe's rhythms are such an important part of music. RIP Butch Trucks.
Phil O'Keefe
I was a huge Allman Brothers Band fan as a teenager and remain one today. I was really sorry to hear about the passing of Butch Trucks. RIP.
Members AlamoJoe
This is really sad news for music period. I'm no drummer but I was a fan of his playing for as long as I can remember. His and Jaimoe's veritable carpet of percussion gave all the other musicians in the Allman Brothers the musical flooring on which to roam freely. He was the architect of a rhythm doctrine which set a standard. Music is losing giants by the handfuls here lately and I'm really sad to hear of this Man's passing....Duane Allman and Barry Oakley now finally have the makings of trio to rip the roof off Heaven.
