Is a Gibson Les Paul with a floyd rose on it a waste?

I don't think he's advocating one.

A Bigsby does the job nicely, but it doesn't have fine tuners so it wont work with a locking nut. . A Floyd on a Paul wouldn't be easy to install because of all the routing needed plus the tops curved and the neck angle requires a higher bridge. There are other Paul type guitars more suitable for one. I suppose if you have the money and its something you must have, you can get it done. You'll just have allot of people cringe in the thought of it. I'd think a Kahler is a much better solution however. Its a shallow route and you don't need the entire back cut out to install the springs and fulcrum block.

Do you realize that other people read your threads? It's almost like you're in the middle of a conversation that we're not privy to.

Don't you already have guitars with a Floyd? There are so many out there that cutting up a Les Paul to do it is asinine.

I don't see why people wouldn't read my threads especially if its in the second page with no replies yet.
