I'm gassing so bad for a white guitar with gold hardware... just like that for example. Very nice.

I think the company had big financial problems at some point, probably in the '90s, and ended up selling out, at least partially, to Samick or one of the other big Korean mfgs. Maybe their factory out in Cali burned down or something like that? Seems like I remember imported VA guitars of marginal quality sorta ruining their reputation? FWIW, I do think some of the main guys from the company's '80s heyday are now involved in the Gibson thing. I wonder if they're making good stuff again.

Yea, I do vaguely remember the Samick versions of them.
It's a shame what they went through. They were very nice many years ago.
Sounds like the Gibson ones maybe quite nice.

Great guitars! They have them at the gibson showcase. If your in Nashville (after they open the damn thing again) stop by the showcase, and play one.

Half the guys on the LA session scene probably played Valley Arts stuff in the late '80s.

Mike McGuire and Al Carness were the minds behind Valley Arts, and both ended up working for Gibson after Samick acquired a controlling interest in Valley Arts in the early '90s.

What an absolutely sick player! If I buy a Valley Arts will I sound like that?
What if you scare yourself half to death twice?
