  • BOTB Raffle Score: Shoe Pedals Savior Machine

I was informed last week that I won a savior machine in the HCFX BOTB raffle (I had no idea).  I had heard about this on here and was intrigued since I'm a david bowie fan.

When V messaged me he told me it was supposed to be a Marshall type sound.  I got it today and played around with both single coils and humbuckers.  Jammed for awhile.  I just wish it had a little more output.

I like it a lot.  I'll do clips tomorrow if anyone is interested.

    Glad it arrived safely!
As far as output goes us your amp set pretty clean?
I've usually found it pretty loud with like clean fender and traynor amps. However, I'm going to add a switch for a stiffer/louder clipping setting on the next run actually cause there are two clipping styles for this pedal I really like. It's not a high gain pedal as far as clipping goes, though, if that's what you mean. Make sure you play with some gusto, though. It's very touch responsive.

Looking forward to hearing the clip. Congrats on the new pedal!

Oooh cool bieke. The production version has nicer aesthetics and is a bit more amplike and louder, actually. Has a broader tonal range as well. The general sound and touch response is similar though.

I think the second run will use an knob for headroom.
