having a late night skim of what's going locally.

anyone in the leeds area wanna pay 250 smackeroos for a buggered hammond organ?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1960s-HAMMOND-...item19b7048e38

It originally came with a Lesley 145 speaker cabinet but my son sold this to the

Legendary (late) Rob Collins, keyboard player in the 'CHARLATANS' band

The ORGAN is in perfect working order apart from needing

a white key, vibrato key & a drawbar replacement

also a strip of veneer on the right front corner

I can never get over those auctions for stuff that are in perfect working order apart from... a bunch of stuff

No price, though. And the description (it shows up "below" about a page later in the instruments list) says:

"Norm Robinson Custom - 12" Jensen Loudspeaker - Hammond Transformer.

Great tone and louder than you might think ( sound Marshally when cranked and sweet Jazzy when not ).

      e-mail for pics"

A Hammond transformer doth not a Hammond make. The "B3" in the title is just out-of-the-air. There's a '67 Gibson amp there right now that's more tempting. (In my fantasies.)

        No I mean...

Actually, an A100 is a B3, plus it has reverb internal speakers/amp. But, I was wondering if that thing was made out the AO-44 reverb amp from an A100. If so, it would be a nice little guitar/harp amp.

The things listed there are really quite minor and may not hamper the working order of that unit.

unless you plan on using the broken key or the broken drawbar?

I broke a key on my hammond at a gig. I finished the set. The organ still worked all night long.

When I got the thing ALL of the drawbars were bent out of shape, but the damn thing still worked.

I'm guessing someone wants to buy a love seat, along with some kitchenware and a microwave. If this is someone striking out on their own for the first time, I fear for their employment if that's the best spelling they can muster.

                    • This one's even better!

Nothing quite sounds like a genuine Hammond:

I've always wanted to own one of their elusive XP series organs.

                      • Why buy a Hammond XP-80 when you can get a Concertmate 970 with 12 note polyphony for $125?
