Members Mike51
I mention my artistic dislike of a musician(Jordan Rudess playing style), with no personal attacks and the thread is locked? Dude....get a *girlfriend*. Seriously. Do you stay up all night watching anime and playing Final Fantasy....is this what you do all day that drives you so crazy that you need to control a tasteful criticism? wow. This forum is becoming like the movie "Minority Report" The oracles have prophesied that this post might ruffle the feathers of World of Warcraft nerds! Arrest that man! Ban that man! It was prophesied! It was spooken to eth in the Karma! Dude, please bring back the real forum, when it was run by people who actually touch a female from time to time so they weren't uptight controlling freakshows. If you have to, PAY for it. Members epyon77x
Mike please, you know that that particular thread was heading nowhere. We already had discussions in that vein, and altough I enjoyed debating DT with you occasionaly you know that those topics are useless cause they way too often degenerate into flame wars and needless provocations. How can one even begin to make a distinction? and altough I enjoyed debating DT with you occasionaly you know that those topics are useless cause they way too often degenerate into flame wars and needless provocations. Since when did debating music become "needless provocation"? Debate stimulates discussion. It keeps this place from going stale. It can't all be about how the Korg M3 doesn't fit in a rack space. This place has become very, very dull. It seems alot of personality has been leaving the forum.

Mike, no offense but your diatribe is gettting really old. And please stop with the "I was just wanting to discuss music" excuse for stirring up {censored}. Members Mike51
Someone has to come into this forum and show some enthusiasm and energy. This place is like walking into a computer nerd morgue! Stunning, really. The discussions are like reading a Roland service manual. Place has lost alot of personality. I came back to inject some life into this $##$# dump. The landlords have not been taking care of the property.

Well, it doesn't have to be that way really. You've been posting some pretty good stuff as of late. It just "seems" like you get to a point where you are bored and want to stir up stuff. Yeah, I know this place can get pretty stale sometimes, but for the most part its been information exchange... and extremely helpful for me recently too. We can't have the old days back, bud. Members alfonso
Technique vs. creativity....are simple listeners and musician listeners different in how they do get emotions from music? Are there "replicants" vs. "mutants" amongst listeners and musicians? Maniera vs. innovation? I think that all these issues can be very interesting to debate, few groups recall them so much as the DT....to my own taste few groups have such an unbalanced relation between number of notes and their meaningfulness....but someone adores them, there must be a reason. DT are just an excuse to debate about us. Like religion. It's dividing, but not O.T. A tough dilemma for a moderator, you need guts for that job, and a sense of equilibrium and respect...not easy! Gus Lozada
Dude, please bring back the real forum, when it was run by people who actually touch a female from time to time so they weren't uptight controlling freakshows. If you have to, PAY for it. ... well, my girlfriend is taking a shower -one of those long, relaxing showers- after a good session of "touching" -sic- ... and while she's on it, here I am, reading the forums... and I do still agree with Paolo's and Eerie's opinions in the subject. BTW we all know Eerie has a lovable girlfriend and Paolo is married and has an adorable family. ... So, being actual "female touchers" -as if it would really mean something, anyway!- , I guess that means your argument is not really valid. This is the real forum. ... now I gotta go... I'm joining her at the shower...
