Members boosh Posted August 20, 2005 Members Share Posted August 20, 2005 My son Skippie has this little chair he allways sits in and I was sitting next to him feeding him strawberries. All of a sudden he wanted to get out of his chair so I to him out. He started pushing the chair 14 feet away(he can't walk yet) Than he asked me if he could go to bed. So I tucked him in and kissed him goodnight. Ten minutes later I was back in the livingroom when a huge photo of Bob Marley crashed of the wall,...it landed exactly at the spot where we were sitting 10 minutes before,....there was glass everywhere A piece of glass about 10 by 15 inch was standing straight and upright just on the spot Skip was sitting. Nah, I'm serious though, its a good thing the little one asked to move the chair as he must have sensed something as kids are so perseptive but the main thing is your both ok and not hurt! Reminds me of once when I was a kid and about 15 minutes after I left the dinner table a big huge chunk of plaster (i'd guess about 2 feet by 4 feet" fell from the ceiling, directly above my chair. The plaster was ridiculously thick, at least several inches in spots (an older house and i am guessing they caked it on there to make it "level" with everywhere else). The funny part of it was my mother had just returned from a business trip and had this happened only a day before she'd have never believed me that I didn't do something to cause it to happen. When I took Skip out of bed an hour ago the first Thing he did was look where the pictureframe was,..... Strange because it all happened after I took him to bed.....
