I agree. I can't call it up at work, but there are some videos of him on Youtube essentially trolling his fans before a show, as well as a hilarious satirical video called "How A Song Is Made", both in which he makes fun of himself quite a bit. He clearly has a good sense of humor and doesn't take himself totally seriously. I really think he does a lot of these things to {censored} with people. And I'm certainly laughing. this.

If Taylor Swift and John Mayer made a porno, I'd watch it. I think he has a nice bum. Please dont think I keep up with this stuff, i just read Fark.com religiously, apparently Taylor wrote a song about him saying he shouldn't have f'ed her while she was 19 she was too young. Go with that where you want. Frankly, Taylor got a hit song out of it and shouldn;t have spread her legs so fast if she has to write a song about it.

Fender did this to me on one of their $250 (after discounts) guitars. They wanted me to pay about $120 in factory warranty shipping. I sold the guitar, which was one month old or so, purchased through GC, who dumped it on fender. GC's managers response to my guitars problems were, well, if you want better quality buy something better than a fender. Um. What? SUre there are better guitars but a wrongly built guitar is a wrongly built guitar.

Interesting, I'd imagine applying the resin to the lungs would help more than the picks. However, if they are good enough for those two guitarists, I'm not sure you can say they suck. Shame i use a thumb pick.

I'm not at all knowledgeable on the specs like Doctor Morbius is... But I have a really nice 2010 MIM Standard Tele and a couple of REALLY nice 2011 American Standard Teles. The pickups that came in the MIM were hotter and darker. Too dark. I replaced them immediately with a set of Fender OV Tele pickups. And that's the only mod I've done to it. It's great now! As far as I can tell..... my MIM is very close in quality. Doesn't sound quite as sweet as the USAs.... but very close. A couple months ago I was about to buy a really nice Lake Placid Blue MIM Standard Strat.... but it had sharp fret ends and the American Special Strat hanging next to it sounded and played much nicer. However...... last week I did a setup on a 2009 MIM Standard Strat - rosewood board. At first it played like total crap! Too much relief and high action. But after I worked my magic on it (tightened truss rod, shimmed the neck, polished the frets, treated the fretboard with Fret Doctor, set intonation, nut lube.) it played like a $2000 guitar. Seriously! That thing was awesome!! I almost hated to give it back to the guy I did it for. My experience with mim is like this, awesome if you finish the job right (possibly a fret job too, for me a shim and a fret is too much, shim technically fine, not ok in tonal theory, to me). Some people find real gems though apparently, and I actually like the sound of the pups before they made them hotter, especially the noiseless. Right now I'd rather go chinese, but they don't feel as well copnstructed as MIA and MIM, just play better, lol.

What is the smallest thinnest Fender neck acquirable? Anyone know? CV's are the best I've found as to those qualities. The last MIA Fender I remember fitting my hands was the Jimi Hendrix reissue in the 90's. I'd like to find one of those and play it again see if it's as good as I remember it.

MIM 1 5/8th nut. MIA 1 11/16 nut I wonder if I can feel that 1/27ish (forgive me math geeks, MIM 1 10/16ths MIA 1 11/16ths, so yeah, the total width) difference. Wish I had both here right now.

My experience is the tone and build is good on MIM but I don't like the necks.
