Members chiro972
These guys are just amazing! I can't believe the rich sound they get with just a 3 piece band. Watching the Rev Willie G is just incredible. He makes it look so easy. Anyway, it's a great show.

Members GodBlessTexas
Yep, just got it on BluRay, and it's amazing. There aren't many people as cool as Billy Gibbons. I'm convinced that cat is an alien, but we still love him.
Members crashclc
Y'oughta see 'em live to get the full texas boogie band effect. It is really hard to believe that much noise can come out of just those three hombres - and they're a local band! They started out (and mostly still live) in this area. Members Mahuska
Went to VH-1's site, looked around and couldn't find it. I'll go to Direct TV's site and do another search, then record to DVR if the show if listed.
Members JoeFender
I have the "Live from Texas" DVD. Billy has always been one of my favorite guitar players. Love all of the concert, hate his schtick on the "extra's" on the DVD. The poker game is a joke!
Members headless
...hate his schtick on the "extra's" on the DVD. The poker game is a joke! Lately (like, the 25 years) ZZ Top seems all Schtick to me.
Members Hubert Stumblin
Watched it last night. Terrific. The Rev is just awsome. And I like all the schtick stuff. Just shows that they don't take themselves too seriously and yet put out groovin', killer music. Other "serious" players could take a cue or two from 'em. Lighten up a little, ya know? Members cuppster
They show music on VH-1? I saw ZZ Top in concert a few years ago, and they were more or less on automatic pilot for that show. It was still awesome. Those guys can't not kick ass. Members Mudder1310
I saw it on Palladium HD the other night. Thick tones from that Gretsch, and again from that tele. I thought I saw a humbucker in the bridge though. All through Crate amps?
Members flatheadpete
My favorite band (helps they all have hot rods, too!). I've seen them live three times and they get better every time. Ran into Billy at a car show some 10-12 yrs ago. Cool as hell! He had his beard tucked in his t-shirt, shoppin' for new t's. Cool.
Members ashasha
I was watching it last night as well. I frickin love that concert. He's just got the greatest thickest syrupy growly sound ever. And the whole schtick is funny because if he shaved, didn't play guitar and put on a few pounds he would be my best friend's dad growing up. Reminds me a lot of my teenage years between the goofiness, the sexual inuendos and the hot rods. What more could a teenage boy ever want?
