It reminds me of the color of some violins / cellos / other instruments in that vein. God I love plain tops. I made the mistake once and got an Artcore that was small and sounded kinda muffled and dead. I think for great semi sound you need that 335 surface area for the tone to develop and bloom, ....just from my experience. I got a Shearton now and am satisfied with that.
