Members Elias Graves
Yeah, kinda been thinking about that. If it doesn't work, I'll build a wooden box. (Assuming I'm still alive.) Thanks Hellion. EG

Members Elias Graves
I does smell good. It really responds well to the chisel and draw knife. Comes off nice and smooth without gouging. Nice grain to work with as well. EG
Members Elias Graves
Starting to look like a neck. It's incredibly beefy, but it feels great. I'm not going to take it down too small since it's a slide guitar. EG

Members Elias Graves
Yep. Spokeshave, drawnife, slingblade . That, rasps and files. I have a blister on the inside of my thumb tonight. You should see the massive piles of shavings I created. EG

EG I'm (hopefully) going to get one before my next build, or at least before I try and tackle a neck I created so much dust and crap from my last guitar- I stopped up the little pump on my heat pump unit, and now it's overflowing in my basement I didn't even pay attention to that little hole on top of it. Guess that means a trip to Lowe's I'm bumping this so all who haven't seen this can
