Members Darkstorm
3 and half inch wide black leather one from mid 1970's. Has lasted well, still in great condition, nice and supple soft. One of the first two straps I ever got. Other one was brown, 3 and half inch wide leather. The peep who bought my 76 gibson bicentenial Tbird bass in the early 1980's got that one when I sold the bass, kept the black one for myself. Members Jkater
This is not only my oldest but my favorite strap as well. It was made for me by a good friend when we were in school (how long ago is that?!?). One notable thing about it is that it has a huge scar in the leather, either from an injury or the brand mark on the cow's butt (on the part of it you can't see in the pic. ). Why I mention this uninteresting fact, i don't know ( maybe I think it's cool.... ).

Members scott944
sh944 - yep, I'm "sbyrne" on Rennlist. I couldn't afford to keep that thing without that backup so I can work on it myself. New suspension bushings in the rear this winter. Should be FUN! Members Elias Graves
I have a rope that came off my dad's '47 Silvertone. It's busted. Probably installed in the '50's some time. EG
Members A Happy Crowd
1989 for me. It's a black and white checkered strap I got with my first guitar. I have one strap for each guitar and never had a need to replace any.
