Members Misha
This pedal seems like a lot of fun!! I have three days off next week! I'm going to ask my teacher for 2 or 3 lessons instead of one (an hour each) and would like to get me a fuzz! I'm also thinking of getting a Tech 21 SansAmp British. Don't know if it's usable with headphones though???

Members orourke
Check out the Electro Harmonix Little Big Muff. It's versatile, great sounding, inexpensive and doesn't take too much room on your pedal board.
Members Misha
I'll look for these two too! Thank's for the suggestions! This time, though, I'll bring my own guitar. I tried the MXR once, quickly, but with a weird guitar so this time, I'll take my time.
Members BAXANDALL
If they have the Barber Trifecta at the store be sure and give it a try. It is my current favorite.
Members Woody_in_MN
Here is a demo I did of the Danelectro Cool Cat Fuzz Pedal. I don't stray too far from Danelectro stuff. - w

Members Boy
If you can find one try the Skreddy Mayonnaise (or Mayo). It sounds like a tri knob Big Muff and also takes up little room on the pedalboard.
Members Bro Blue
I have the Swollen Pickle mk.II, it is very versatile. The Barber Trifecta is also a good fuzz. The Dano Cool Cat fuzz is very good for the money. Musket Fuzz is also awesome. If you are looking for strictly Hendrix though, the Fuzz Face is it. Members t-rey
:cop:Another route might be to buy and build a kit. general Guitar Gadgets has a nice one.....http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/ This, it is the same circuit as the big fuzz face in a smaller package. If you want to drop some cash and go boutique, the Skreddy Lunar Module is apparantly very good.
Members Angry Tele
I prefer MKII types like my BYOC but I hear really good things about the mxr108 for a Hendrix fuzzface sans the HUGE enclosure.
Members jelloman
Ehx Big muff with tone wicker... has the classic muff fuzz with the added option of the wicker that adds a more modern edge if you want it...a very flexible fuzz FTW

If I was dropping some cash on a boutique pedal I would also consider one of the Analogman Sunface models.

I like my BYOC MKII as well but it won't clean up like a fuzzface...which can be good or bad depending on needs.
Members doc oc
Is there a huge difference between the red fuzz face and the blue hendrix model? Also, is it important top get germanium rather than silicon for that hendrix sound or is that all market bull{censored}?

Members figjamaussie
MI Audio make some very tweakable fuzz pedals, not badly priced either. GI Fuzz (Silicon) mrPgp77lGFs Neo Fuzz (Germanium) akdlGlgI5aI

I think it can help a little bit. Command of the material / style is always going to be the biggest "key" (imo).

Members Grantus
Look for the Will Sledge the Judge fuzz. It's super cool and can do a lot of different things. It has a dying 9-volt battery simular. Similar to the ZVex fuzz factory.
Members Misha
Thank's everybody for all your suggestions! Lots of products I had no idea of! I will print this thread and carry it with me when I'll go shopping for my Fuzz! Barber and MI-Audio pedals are very hard to find in Montreal. Not even a single dealer I think. Maybe one for MI-Audio but it's a 100 Km drive! (Too bad cause I would love to try these products!) I just talked to my teacher and now that my lessons are booked, I can't wait to get my Fuzz!
