Members vintage clubber
I've heard good things about them. I don't know if they are any better than the GFS Vintage '59 or Classic II's which are less expensive.
Members bluesboy
yeah, that's probably true
Members magnido45
I sometimes visit the Ibanez forum...they are highly praised and recommended from the folks in the Artcore series forum.
Members PunkKitty
They have really good reviews. Judging by the wiring scheme for them, I suspect that they are made by Mighty Mite. I have a set of MM Vintage Buckers that I love. But I agree with Vintage Clubber. GFS are a good deal for the money.
Members MahaloVision
I've used a couple - the standard hummer in the neck and an overwound in the bridge, with coil cuts on both. They sound pretty much like you'd expect a PAF type hummer to sound.

Members bluesboy
i found a post on youtube, and while the guys playing wasn't great, he was getting some really good tones out of his EPI LP. What I would consider "classic" LP blues tone. i might give em a try
Members tlbonehead
aren't they Schallers? Or does Schaller have someone make them?
Members HanSolo
I can't speak for the Golden Age pickups but I'll vouch for the GFS '59. From personal experience it is a beautiful, vintage PAF sounding pickup. In the neck on my LP copy, it is just sweet sounding and very articulate. Members metallica_00
aren't they Schallers? Or does Schaller have someone make them? I thought they might be the same as the Schaller Golden 50s - but I'm not 100% sure. Those Schallers are stock on some Heritage guitars including my H535 (ES335 style). They are pretty good sounding pickups. As I've spent more time with the guitar, I think the neck pickup on my guitar is a bit dark/muddy on the low strings and for complex chords and I may make a switch to something like a Fralin low-wind PAF with greater clarity and openness. I'm not 100% sure if they are the same as the Schallers in the Heritages but if they are based on my experience with other GFS pickups (have never owned GFS humbuckers though) I would say you are certainly doing no worse with the Schallers, probably better. Members trollin'
I have a Golden Age Overwound humbucker in the bridge of my SG. Way better than anything from GFS I've tried for both clean and distorted work. I'd put these on a level with Dimarzio/Duncan/Gibson
