Members Ralph onion
I am not joking. There has to be at least one guitar out there worth it. New, not used. I don't care about the body style or p/u's or color, neck size etc. I just want to find and buy the best low dollar guitar out there. I don't have any and want one. Members Ralph onion
I have amps and lots of American made guitars. Man, I checked out that Rondo site and found an SX SJM-62 for 129.00. Tha Pacifica is 179.00 at MF.
Members DenverDave
There are several nice guitars well under $200.00 at the Guitar Fetish website. And I like the Xaviere guitars quite a bit.
Members dabbler
While I agree that the Agile AL-2000 is a nice guitar, it IS over the limit in this case. To stay under the $200 limit, I suggest this: http://www.rondomusic.com/WRK590na.html instead.
Members Elias Graves
Pacifica. Yamaha quality is tough to beat plus you have a warranty. Squiers are in the running as well. EG
Members Will Chen
I've played more affordable guitars than I can count (not exaggerating) and the one axe which has big the biggest surprise in a collection which see turnover faster than McDonald's is the SX SST Stop Tail. Members johns7022
I would tell you guys, but I prefer you all just keep chasing your tails, buying gutars, amps, and pedals...and not play as much. .l.

Members Orange Jackson
I don't think you can beat a Yamaha pacifica 112j for under $200. Really nice guitars.
Members Woody_in_MN
also the SX mahogany P90 is great. +1 Excellent reccomendation! also: new Agile AL-2000, or used Peavey T-15. Used First Act GarageMaster (they come around quite often in CL.) If you can find a used Michael Kelly Patriot for slightly more - go for it. - w

Members Karma1
I think that Jay Turser makes some very decent guitars in the budget range. I picked up a used Les Paul goldtop copy to use as a backup guitar and it's a surprisingly good guitar for the money. They also make excellent platforms for upgrades. I eventually put in some Duncan and Gibson pickups and it sounds really good, and also plays well.
