Members Fireproof
I'm assuming these are priced low because they are made in Mexico. Is that correct?http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Deluxe-Series-Nashville-Telecaster-Electric-Guitar?sku=510067 And how do you tell if it's MIM versus MIA? Are the only MIA ones now called "American Standard Telecaster"? I used to have a strat that was MIM but it actually said on the headstock "Made in Mexico". These appear to not have that. Thanks in advance.
Members Doctor Morbius
Definitely MIM. The pure MIA ones start around $1000. The hybrids (highway one and special) are priced at $800.
Members bryvincent
MIM serial numbers starts with "M" . and their Code(SKU) starts with 013 or
Members bsman
Since 09, the "Made in Mexico" is on the BACK of the headstock. BTW -- the Nashville tele is a kick-ass tone machine...

Members tiltsta
Nashville teles are MIM. I played several about a year ago, and they are really great. I ended up with a MIM blackout tele from one of the fender friday sales.
Members JTEES4
I have found then when I have to ask (and I have a few times) it is safe to assume it is Mexican.
