Members GAS Man
I personally like this traditional jazz-style designed headstock motif Serial # 10082300477 ItemID: ETESORCB Retail Price: $1165.00 Your Price: $699.00 This Hollowbody is a Real Retro Rocket! The Epiphone Emperor Swingster hollowbody electric guitar injects twangy vintage character into a classic design! Epiphone based the Emperor Swingster around the body and neck of the venerable Emperor-II (made famous by jazz master Joe Pass), added a dedicated pair of humbucking pickups, and installed a parallel/series wiring scheme that gives you a range of outstanding tones

Members GAS Man
Decent read, "review" here from Music Radar .comhttp://www.musicradar.com/gear/all/guitars/electric/6-string-solid-body/emperor-swingster-276184/review I think having the parallel option is a big plus on this design, something that sets it apart from its more classic competition. But it's seems to me that cutting to a parallel mode versus something like TV Jones style p'ups for the rockabilly tone is something that would deserve some contemplation. It's sorta like a gadgety approach, but on the upside it will retain more versatility.
Members GAS Man
Another vid The Orange sure looks different here than in the Sweetwater photos doesn't it? Odd, since usually their photos bleed out color more so than make the guitar look darker. Members GAS Man
I guess this guitar's major competition would be the Gretsch 5120.

Members Elias Graves
I didn't realize it had all the wiring options built in. That's slick.Epi makes some really nice archtops. I love mine. EG
Members Stackabones
Yes, without a doubt! I already love Epi neck, nut and string spacing specs and this looks like it's the same as my Sheraton II and Zephyr Regent (just got this sweet, discontinued jazzbox). The Swingster looks like it would fill the gap between the Sherrie and the Zeff!
