Members fretmonster
I tested positive for lung cancer today. I am getting a huge dosage blast of radiotherapy tomorrow. I never thought this would happen to me. Even though I've smoked for 40+ years and drank lots of beer every day. I've quit it all cold turkey. I might get two more years of verticality.So,...anybody know of any magical cancer fighting elixirs? I'm swilling away on Xango Juice, Pomegranate juice, Cranberry, Blueberry,...all of the heavy anti-oxidants. I buy mangosteens and akai berries when I see them on the shelves. I'm eating to gain weight, not lose it but I might. You might try this: http://www.anahatabalance.com/teakombucha2.htmlhttp://smallnotebook.org/2009/07/27/how-to-make-kombucha-tea/ In any event, prayers and best wishes for your quick recovery. Members axegrinder
Mucho mojo on the way from me. BTW, I didn't see you respond to RUExp, but that alkaline water thing is worth a shot as long as you're doing all the juices and whatnot. I was working on my vacant rental house last week and I spotted an object on the front lawn. Went to check it out and found it was a brand new "alkaline energy flask". (I think maybe it was tossed out of a passing car...perhaps unwanted stolen property ) I didn't know WTF it was...looked like a thermos with a filter deal inside like an old percolator. Upon researching it I learned they sell for about $40 at amazon and are very easy to use. By running tap water through the filter you raise the Ph a couple notches. You can actually taste the difference...reminds me a little of alka seltzer. Whatever you do keep up the positive gonna-beat-cancer's-ass attitude.
