Members cratz2
Yep - as Cratz2 mentioned below, a Burstbcker Pro #2 in the neck, and a #1 in the bridge - for all the reasons you mentioned.Cool info on the tops, I did not know they were "stamped". Not that there's a right or wrong way to do anything in music, but I think the intention is for the #1 to be in the neck and the #2 to be in the bridge. The #2 is a bit hotter, both to help balance the pickup positions and to help the bridge pickup drive the amp a bit more.

I'm sure I wired them correctly, though - I bought the #1 (NECK) and wired it a couple times in different guitars long before getting the #2. I bought the #2 (BRIDGE) used with an extremely short (6") lead, so I know I could not have accidentally wired it into the neck! Thanks!

Members fretmonster
Never even seen one before, sounds like a winner. Glad to see Ibanez still doing something that isn't totally metal oriented. I even like the finish, congrats.

Members newbuilder
Nice! I have always been an Ibanez fanboy...and a little put off by that finish. Looks pretty cool with the nickle covers and I could really see a BFG type project out of one of those:eek: But definately HNGD!

Members Fusion1
Is that a pic of Jessica Simpson? Looks more like Jessica Alba there than herself if it is.
Members ExiledCrow
The finish is a little different, but I kinda like it because of that. I like the bridge a lot, looks comfy for the hand. HNGD

Members Jarick
Those Artists are great guitars. I've been loving my Art100 for playability. Still dialing in the pickups. But it's LIGHTER than a Strat, better balanced, plays faster, stays in tune better, just awesome.
Members SpaceProg
Hehe... indeed. Ibanez could drop their whole pointy line and I wouldn't be phased. But if they do away with their Artists and Artcores... D:
Members mout
Woah! Never seen any guitar like that. That should get you really good attention, haha! Nice. HNGD.
Members Jarick
Might have to play one of those Artcores next time I'm at the music shoppe. $400 for a 335 knockoff with the playability of my Artist would be something. And I bet I wouldn't have any muddiness problems with that maple body
Members jshaffer20
I bet it would look better with the super shiny finished dulled up a bit. I think its just a bit to shiny for my taste. Still sweet looking though!
