Nice. Carvin all day. Nothing beats finding the right specs in the in stock section too, plus the in stock stuff is usually marked down from what it normally costs with its options. My bolt plus came with stainless frets at 700 and I'm pretty sure the bolt plus starts higher than that.

Congrats on a great guitar :thu:

Nice! HNGD!

What's the difference between the ST300 and the DC135T that I have? They look like the same guitar.

P.S. I used to live in Madison during the Lombardi/Starr years. I'm still a big Packer fan.

I was wondering the same thing!....lol....I have the DC135T as well.

Great guitar! Enjoy.

Body shape. The DCs are a little pointier and the STs have more of a Soloist look. Apart from that I think they're the same.

As mentioned, mainly the DCs are more pointy.

The original DCs were really pointy.

The ST is more Strat-ish or Soloist in style.

But, also, the front arm rest and back belly cut are different.

The arm rest is larger and has a smoother transition.

The DC is short and angles quickly.

Same with the belly cut. The ST300 is deeper than the DCs.

Even between my '89 STs and the new ST300s you can see the difference is arm rest and belly cut.

as well as the heel.

Here's what the original '80s DC body looked like.

Also, the ST is normally two full sized humbuckers.

But, as you can see, the DC135 S/S/H configuration is available as a option as well.
