Members craigny
Used Epi DOTs can be found for a song man...the Artcores are great but if your dead set about MIC then you may be out of luck...I never played one of their semis..but Schecter quality is hard to beat in their price range. Members u6crash
You might want to keep your eyes open for a used Gibson ES339. They are fantastic guitars that meet all of your criteria. I would love a 339. They aren't really off the beaten path unless you know what you're looking at, but I wouldn't turn one away if I found it when I'm ready to spend. Thanks everyone for all the recommendations! I actually found a Hamer Echotone online yesterday for less than $350, but after reading some discouraging reviews, I decided I didn't want to pick it up sight unseen/frets unplayed. Members Will Chen
At the $350 price range, China is all you'll going to be able to afford. Can't even score most Epi and Ibanez MIC models for that unless used. Double your price and you might be able to find some Korean or used Japanese stuff. Triple it to get into the low end used USA territory. I just picked up a Epiphone ES-339 Pro (review here) and have been really digging it. I have one I picked-up right when they came out. Really nice sounding/playing guitar.
