Members Townshend
Just picked up this one-off by The Custom Shop last week. Is there a reason the upper horn has been photoshopped into that blob shape?
Members Crisco
I've shown them several times already, but I did find some photos' of them being built Notice the hand sanding and full grain of the wood Kiln dried...hard beveled edge. Members HeatherAnnePeel
My fave Gibson design, actually, followed very closely by the 335 and the Les Paul.
Members 67standard
My G400 Custom and my old Gibson '67 Standard SG. Both are great players. http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/6663/sg67.jpg>

Members sxyryan
Here's the collection I USED to own. Next time I feel like spending too much on a guitar again, I might track down one of those diablos. Beautiful - I hope they sold well enough for Gibson to bring them back someday when I have money. Members Ultradust
I really like it, it's got a cool psychedelic vibe going on. Ultradust, I presume you had to rout for those p90's? Nope! The routes are big. Really big, big enough for a pairs of WRHBs. The guitar (with plywood body and bolt on neck) is pretty much just shaped like an SG, but that's about it. Have done a few pickup/pickguard combos over the years, but the Kent Armstrong P90s feel so perfect in it now. did the 8.7k PAF + Phat Cat thing for a while, too...Not a bad match at all. During that time I also went nutty and did a coil-split GFS Loudmouth: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y231/opensky/DSCN3426.jpg Along with a silly pickup switcharound + Varitone, which wasn't as useful as I had hoped: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y231/opensky/taurs/DSCN7401.jpg
Members nighthawk15
I've seen your guitar in a couple other threads, and I feel the need to state that I love the shit out of it. As long as I'm in here, I suppose I'll whore mine too Kinda blurry, but whatevs.

Beautiful - I hope they sold well enough for Gibson to bring them back someday when I have money. I thought they had a regular reissue but I don't see it. But they are making these now.... http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/SG/Gibson-USA/SG-Diablo-Tremolo.aspx I want a white SG bad..... Members A_Gitarman
: WANT! ...In a different color or with an ebony fretboard (yeah, like that'll happen ). I'm not too sure that adding extra holes (for the locking nut) in the notoriously fragile headstock joint of an SG is such a great idea, though
Members sxyryan
^^ I like the concept but I change tunings too often to realistically use a Floyd. And a white SG is high on my list too.

Members Hand Amputation
So, I've got a fella locally that has a 1995 SG Special that he wants to sell me. It's in 'player's condition', which I like, and it comes with a hardshell case. He's asking $525. I think he'd take $500 even. I'm curious about the fretboard.. Is this one from back when they were a little better than the 'faded' series? What's the haps on this one? Can anyone help me out? Is it worth it? Oh, and that Emily SG with the P-90's is SWEET!
