Members Bbreaker
OK. I pulled the trigger on Black Friday for a 2013 Hyundai Accent GS hatchback. Not the sex of German precision but Korean economy for me. Boston Red it is. Music gear is a batch of 12 sets of Martin acoustic strings for now. Hey, gotta zip around NJ on an eye dropper gas car. Members JRicoC
Man, if I knew you wanted a hatchback I would have recommended a VW Rabbit. The 170 hp-five-speed with the inline five is a joy to drive ...

Yeah.Economy is the word with gas issues and zipping around areas like Newark, NJ for my legal issue customers. I have a bud (Elliot, mgr of Cherry Hill GC) who sold a bunch of vintage toys to buy his wife a Mercedes and $'s for his daughters college tuition.Guitar or 2 sometime in the future.Immediate needs are the priority. Members Ancient Mariner
That's fair enough. Sometimes NOT using lots of fuel makes for more fun in other ways.
Members Bbreaker
http://www.edmunds.com/hyundai/accent/ Hopefully, it'll last. I traded in my Jeep Liberty w/ 256k miles and it needed about $2k worth of repairs.

Members Foster Zygote
Actually, right now Hyundai has higher reliability statistics than any of the German manufacturers.
Members HanSolo
I have owned 3 Hyundai's. XG300 (their first "luxury" model), an Azera and now a Sonata Turbo. All cars were excellent. I would still have the Azera but I bought it when I had a job with a car allowance and matched the payment to the allowance with next to nothing down. Lost the job (merger) and traded the Azera ($500 equity) for a Sonata lease. Good luck with yours, but you won't need luck, they make great cars.
