Members AlexMC Posted February 3, 2010 Members Share Posted February 3, 2010 Agile AL-2000: http://www.rondomusic.com/al2000spalted.html I've upgraded the pickups to Iron Gear Rolling Mill: http://www.irongear.co.uk/irongear_022.htm And performed the following wiring mods: - swapped bridge and neck knobs around, i.e. the bridge volume and tone control are now uppermost - push-pull on neck volume puts pickups out of phase with each other in the middle switch position (equivalent to the Peter Green magnet mod) - push-pull on the bridge volume splits both pickups for single-coil sounds It's flawless, apart from the slight wood discolouration *under* the finish near the output jack (visible in the second photo; looks perhaps like a hole was patched at the factory).
