For sale:

Peavey Ultra 112: 3 Channel, all valve amp in decent condition. Everything works as it should and it sounds damn fine. Only problem is the non-original footswitch (an old and rather tatty Marshall one that performs exactly the same functions as the original but is less likely to break)

I've upgraded the pickups to Iron Gear Rolling Mill:

http://www.irongear.co.uk/irongear_022.htm

And performed the following wiring mods:

- swapped bridge and neck knobs around, i.e. the bridge volume and tone control are now uppermost

- push-pull on neck volume puts pickups out of phase with each other in the middle switch position (equivalent to the Peter Green magnet mod)

- push-pull on the bridge volume splits both pickups for single-coil sounds

It's flawless, apart from the slight wood discolouration *under* the finish near the output jack (visible in the second photo; looks perhaps like a hole was patched at the factory).

Dead straight neck, 2mm action at the 12th fret; very little fret wear and no dead spots or buzz.
