Unless its got a unique tone I dont see a reason for the wood plate. It does remind me of my Banjogit though. I don't like the red color especially. A double cut maybe for that big/deep of a body? It looks a little bloated as is. The F-holes are pretty weak looking. While the original guitars looked different, they played excellently. And since then, they have developed some other models that are quite literally out of this world.
