Members marder explorer
Hokay, so I normally hang out over on the amp forum, as I've been on a quest to find the amp that will help me ROCK out to my most rocking potential. Having found said amp and my newly acquired 4x12 cab, which is oh-so-rocking compared to my puny, and almost anti-rocking small 2x12, I'm left with either selling all of my gear and going completely rock-less, playing bass OR...joining the MBM and completely rocking out on my Explorer. What are the requirements to join? Should I get a clip out to you all to show how rocking I am? Not a member of the Geezer brigade, but I am a member of the full time college-enrolled, full-time job, gotta crank the amps when I can brigade. No offense meant to any MBM/Geezer members that might see that as a slight to their rocking ways.

Members marder explorer
I'd like to submit my first tale of ROCKING OUT to the MBM file. It goes a little something like this:I woke up at around 11 AM after a long night of partying. I was somehow in my own house, and even more surprising, in my own bed. Best yet, I was alone, and I hadn't yacked into my lap. Good day so far. I walk out of my room in my underwear to the kitchen and grab a 2 litre of Mtn. Dew and stack 2 pieces of cold pizza together. Proceed to down both as fast as possible. I then wash my hands, grab my Explorer, and gradually work up hand speed to Highway to Hell solo. This was warm-up.Plugged into my DS1 AND my TS7, cranked the levels and gain on both, made sure my Explorer "waste control" knob was full up, and flipped the big red switch on the amp. I played Black and Back to the hum of a 120 watt power section preparing itself.Preparing itself, you might ask for what? Of course, ROCKING OUT.The big black switch comes on with a pop, and I crank the only knob worth knowing the identity of. Volume. Enough gain to satiate my desires was met at approximately noon. After doing a few scale runs, I felt the power, and went for the full on ROCK.My cat happened to walk in between the cab and the wall not quite a foot behind the cab immediately after I hit the first ROCKTASTIC note.I never thought I'd actually get to witness what anything looks like after simultaneously imploding AND exploding. Glad to be part of the group.
