Members Adrenochrome Posted February 8, 2008 Members Share Posted February 8, 2008 I rated myself 'really good' because I'm playing at a semi-pro level.Most people here can do loads of tricks that I can't but I'm a very solid, consistent and reliable band member. I think that's the thing...There are so many criteria. keeping rock solid time; inventing innovative lines; reading "fly {censored}"; driving the band's energy (w/the drummer); adding to the mood & emotion in a ballad...there's so many facets to being a good player. And the better you get, the more you discover. Honestly, whoever you are, no matter how good you are (think you are) everyone would have to say they're not as good as they want to be /will be someday.
