Members perrydabassman Posted March 18, 2009 Members Share Posted March 18, 2009 You might want to play one first. I had an Aerodyne, and I didn't care for the way it hung. The body is a bit bigger than a standard Jazz, I just could never get mine to feel comfortable on a strap. It is prolly because of my spare tire, but it was easier to get rid of the bass. I've never seen a new one at that price. They call that color Old Candy Apple Red. EDIT: Sorry, the red color on the Precision-shaped Aerodynes is Crimson Red. Originals were modified jazz bodied, all black, no p/g.Later ones have various colors, and some with p/g's.Now they offer also a modified P shape.
