Good evening, This is my band

I'm lead vocals, guitarist and producer.

We are a New York City hard rock originals band. Sound influences range from Jimi Hendrix, Cream to Queens of the Stone Age. Lots of 90s rock influences as well... Our first ever release is actually available tomorrow. BandCamp link

As with many of you I'm sure .. we were in control of this product from inception to distribution and it gets hazy when finding out ways to promote this thing short of some kind of corporate backing.

So it's good to get a chance to get the music out there for whatever it's worth. Thanks.. wave.gif

Hello! I am an electronic musician; my alias is FNDTY. My music is a blend of electronic, rock and noise music with catchy hooks. I draw influence from At The Drive-In, M83 and a little bit of Kraftwerk and noise music.

I just released an EP titled "Warriors" You can listen and download it here. Please also visit my Bandcamp page.

Would you listen to my music and let me know what you think? Thanks!

Hey, my name is Orrin. My band/music project is called abe&tell. I'm going to be recording an ep (or maybe an album) in the next two months and I'm really excited about it, definitely going to be an interesting experience!

I've spent the last 8ish months playing before an audience whenever I get the chance to become more comfortable and in control on stage. I've definitely made great progress with it and it's putting me in a good position to start playing some proper concerts after I have some music recorded.

I'm currently in Hamburg, Germany but I'm originally from Sydney, Australia and I'll be heading back home in a few weeks to enjoy the Aussie summer!

I'm looking forward to getting involved on the forums! Cheers.

We're pretty inexperienced and are just playing a few times a month for funzies. I've learned a lot just by reading a few discussions on the board! Hope everyone has a great day! oh, here is our band if anyone wants to take a look. Don't be too harsh, please smile.gif

Oh well, better late than never, just saw this. Better than average start for sure. Keep focusing on the vocals,,,instruments are secondary.

Greetings Comrades,

My name is Matt Lowen (it's not just a clever username) and I'm a singer/songwriter from Vancouver, BC, Canada. The music is folk/rock based (as the medium of one man with an acoustic guitar and harmonica is somewhat limiting genre-wise) and I've been at it for quite a while now, being in and out of bands that never went anywhere. I'm enjoying the solo solo project.

Recently, I discovered this amazing thing called the internet where all these people go everyday. I figured I would join up in some of these "forums" and connect with like-minded individuals in cyberspace, just for fun. Looking forward to the wealth of knowledge to be picked up in here.

Cheers!

Matt

I introduced my band once before, but the project is coming to an end. One last time for the road, then, allow me to re-introduce The Frank Tyler James Lemers!

Hi All,

Figured I'd stop lurking and introduce my band. We're called Blue Moon Prairie and do a mix of Americana/Folk/Folk Rock/Whatever. One gal has a bluegrass background, another a folk background, I have a rock background. Together, it's pretty eclectic. We go into the studio to do our CD in 2 weeks! and then start gigging. We have a couple of shows lined up already, and wanted to have our CD ready prior to playing.

The song that automatically plays on the site is actually a cover from Tom Kimmel & Jennifer Kimball; the other one available for listening is an original. For live performance, we do ~60% originals, and the rest, interesting covers. Our CD will have 8 songs, 6 of them originals.

Good luck to everyone - keep the music flowing!

Hi All,

I'm one of the guitarists from the NJ-based prog rock band, Days Before Tomorrow. Melodic, great musicianship, big hooks, multi-part vocal harmonies... we're independent, have our second CD coming out later this winter. Music in the style of groups like Yes/Rush/Porcupine Tree/Spock's Beard.

Playing tomorrow night at The Whiskey Tango in Philly. Showing off a lot of music from our upcoming second release....

I'm also the editor in chief at MusicPlayers.com, the free online magazine for serious musicians, and author of the popular book, Modern Guitar Rigs: The Tone Fanatic's Guide to Integrating Amps & Effects.

Hey everyone!

My band is called Invengence, and we're an original modern metal band based out of Akron, OH. We started in the early months of 2010 and began from the ground up. The members have played with national acts such as Mushroomhead, Stemm, Psychostick, Bobaflex, Devildriver and Lamb of God. We pride ourselves on energetic live shows! We are currently recording and have a bunch of shows booked in the Akron and surrounding areas in Ohio.

All other details can be found on our website below......check out the tunes and let us know what you think! You can check us out at http://www.reverbnation.com/invengence .

Hey all. My name's John, and I sing and play guitar in a band called CAPTIONS. We're from Ventura County, CA. We just got a new drummer and have started playing shows again after some rehearsal time. We've just released a single on iTunes/bandcamp and are releasing an EP within the next month. We've got a couple shows in the LA area coming up if any HCFX'ers in the area wanna swing by and talk gear, the dates are on our bandcizzamp.

well, since I'm new to this section of the forums, here's my band!

We are Nox Periculum. We're a prog rock trio, we love Rush and we love Totally_jammin_out.gif Right now we're in Burlington, VT - home of Phish and hippies... but we're getting great response to our sound- mostly because no one sounds anything like us around here. We recently were accepted into the 2012 VT battle of the bands, so we are pumped for the exposure if nothing else. Winner gets 2k! needless to say, we're stoked! Let me know what you think!
