Members Mandolin Picker
Country music legend Mel Tillis died early Sunday morning, November 19 in Ocala Florida. Mel originally became known for his song writing abilities and is an inductee in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. He initially avoid singing as he stuttered when talking. Later, he would go on to a award winning singing career and is a member of the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame. Mel also did some acting in the movies "Smokey and Bandit 2" and "Cannonball Run." He will be greatly missed. [video=youtube;NkhDXIpuaBQ]

Members JazzMastaJim
My college physics professor, Sam Tillis, claimed that Mel was his cousin. Of course, I had no way to verify it, but I also had no reason to doubt him. However, he didn't stutter and I never heard him sing.
