Members Wilbo26
Hopefully usa83's hunch is correct then. That would make all kinds of sense.
Members usa83strat
yeah i dig the new knobs and switches, but that {censored}ing hump.. i wouldnt feel the need to rehouse the pedal if it didnt have it. lets cross our fingers for the switchable order of effects. i think VS puts out a quality product at a good price. i really like the route 66 a lot, but i dont liek the order in witch you arre forced to use them. Members Fast Frets
The new single 66 pedal is a compressor that has adjustable noise reduction circuitry built in. It sounded really good. The octave fuzz has the octave adjustable as well. It also sounded good. I asked about a redesign of the amp cosmetics but they are committed to the hubcap because of its dispersion characteristics. It seems to me that you could include it but cover it with grill cloth. The amps sounded really good.

I'm curious about them as well...hopefully there will be some locally to check out.
Members houseofglass21
That orange fuzz pedal looks like something that comes with a happy meal.
Members dZjupp
i can see why they added the rear hump as to provide some amount of protection to the knobs. the fuzz and single comp look very interesting. the main (dual) pedals look smaller than their predocessors, are they? Members freeridstylee
Yea I'm feeling quite disappointed at the new look. Seems like they got bigger. And the new footswitches. Interested to hear the fuzz though.
Members therhodeo
If those singles have the good buffer like the VS pedals have now I might have to get a comp for the front of my chain.

Members Televator
i don't like the new look :-(but....if that dual tubescreamer is similar to the drivetrain then it will be a winner. That's what I was thinking; the DoubleTrouble's got promise. What's up with the giant eyebrows though?
Members therhodeo
That's what I was thinking; the DoubleTrouble's got promise. I really miss the TS side of my J&H. Very nice sounding OD.
Members usa83strat
yeah their take on the TS is nice and good sounding, like i said if i would have been able to swithc the order of the effects i would have never gotten rid of it. Members dZjupp
i think they kind of have a Tonebender flare to them. the footswitches look solid just a bigger top on them which i think is cool. i am wondering what the extra switch on the fuzz is. also, does anyone know if the dual pedals are smaller than the originals? I'm assuming the extra switch on the fuzz toggles the octave up effect on or off. Looks like they're the same size as the originals plus the humpback part. They Jeckyl side of the J&H is indeed a great tubescreamer clone...so if they just packaged two of those together that could be very nice indeed. Members therhodeo
also, does anyone know if the dual pedals are smaller than the originals? They look like it. Look at the little black toggle switches in relation to the rest of the pedal compared to how they look on the current ones.

Members Wilbo26
I think the difference in the size of the switches and the different knobs make it look a bit smaller...but looking at this pic I think its the same size.
