Members SpectralJulian
Someone who works for EHX who posts here said the dirt IS analog. Also, there is a clearly marked 3 position switch for clean, overdrive, and fuzz.

Members freeridstylee
The stain promo says "unique analog gilded distortion" meaning covered in analog. a/d/a. from that it could go either way. they wouldn't use the word gilded if it was true analog, they'd promote it. just a speculation though. Members disartdsgn
Sorry that I haven't read the threads about this but how is the looping? I already feed delays into my looper but I'm curious about the modulations. Are they available WITH the looper function or are they totally independant? Members tri99er
the only thing that makes me wonder about the HolyStain is that I prefer my reverb, and tremolo in the loop of my amp, and the fuzz, dirt, and any pitch shifter in the front end of my amp. Don't want to have to buy 2, waiting for clips.
Members Fiery Furnace
Wow, I honestly thought the title was a joke. What a terrible name. Hope it sounds better than the worm! Still, it's cool to see them coming up with new pedal ideas and selling them for a good price.
Members Fender&EHX4ever
Hope it sounds better than the worm! No love for The Worm? It's the most misunderstood pedal in EHX's line.
Members Musickbox
I hope this pedal is as good as it looks. My RV3 might have to go.

Members SpectralJulian
I think that ebay dealer is shady and puts things on ebay before they really have them in stock. I bet C Fuzz gets his Holy Stain a week from now.

I bet C Fuzz gets his Holy Stain a week from now. i was thinking the same exact thing. Those dealers on ebay can do that. They'll prob get the holy stains in on mon or tues, so they'll just sell a bunch on ebay so that people will order them before they are actually out. i am dieing to hear this thing though. I want one bad if the reverb/fuzz sounds even remotely good wah pedal.

Members Fender&EHX4ever
I love the worm, I've never tried one, but I love it anyway. OT: The Worm is a noisy analog pedal, but it gets some great tones despite the noise. Also, everyone expects to be a multi-fx pedal when they buy it, but it really isn't, so they are disappointed with it. It's more like a very versatile Phaser that can approximate vibrato, tremelo, and wah. When I realized this and approached it from that angle, I found it much more charming. The Manual switch alone is worth the price - it expands my tone possibilities to nth degree. Sorry for the diversion, but I had to get that off of my chest Now about that Holy Stain...
