I don't blame him at all, music journalists talk about/to musicians like they want to suck their dick, and I bet all that idolizing/adoration comes off as fake. it's pretty much a given that musicians hate music journalists. Either they sound like they're trying to get in your pants, or they read way, WAY too deep into the music and get all de-constructivist, or they compare you to artists you've never heard or given a {censored} about; label you, essentially. despite the masturbatory descriptive introduction, this was a good interview!
