Members woodsmandan
I use a Boss OD-3 and a Monsterpiece NPN fuzz, an now I need a versatile distortion that I can use on solos and on the occasional metal moment...I have a 100$ credit in a local shop, so I want to keep it within that price. I auditionned an old Boss HM-2 Heavey Metal for the job, but I'd like a little more warmth... Suggestions ?
Members dkerwood
Keeley modded DS-1...? Digitech has some offerings that would work well. Or there are certainly some used pedals that would do it- V1 Jekyll & Hyde, for example.

Members IRG
Good choice. The Dano Drive is supposed to be good too, and you'd have money left over still.

Members Davo17
You might be able to get a ds-1 and a ge-7 for 100. Save up a few more bucks and get the ds-1 modded.

Members woodsmandan
What do you use the NPN for atm? I use it for solos, in front of the OD-3. I love the NPN in an overdrive.

Members bennintexas
you can pick up a 90s ri rat which imo sound much better than the current production. can do a realllllyyy nasty almost fuzz tone when dimed and great low-gain tones as well.
