Members Fender&EHX4ever
Tim Burton more than makes up for Willie Wonka with these films: Pee-Wee's Big AdventureBeetlejuiceEdward ScissorshandsBatman & Batman ReturnsMars Attacks! The Nightmare Before ChristmasEd WoodSleepy HollowBig FishCorpse BrideSweeney Todd He's pretty much the only Hollywood director of the last 25 years that I care about at all, save David Lynch (who isn't really Hollywood per se since most of his films are funded by the French - Canal+). Members SpectralJulian
Tim Burton is becoming a parody of himself. Only movies I really really like by him are Batman, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, and Beetlejuice. There are a few others that are ok, but don't do it for me. I will not see the new Alice in Wonderland, it's one of my favorite books and I don't want to the Tim Burton spin on it. Remember Sleepy Hollow, Planet of the Apes, and Willy Wonka? Yeah. {censored} Tim Burton.
Members SpectralJulian
Also, those make-up jobs just hurt my eyes. The Mad Hatter looks like my sister's best friend's mom if she was strung out on crack. And the white queen forgot about her eyebrows.
Members bigcheese93
Dear Tim BurtonFor your consideration: there are other actors that exist other than Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.Kindest Regards They are his best friend and his wife (sometimes hard to pick out which one gets what title) and he likes using them in his movies. Members Devi Ever
damnit. i'd erased the Wonka massacre from my mind and was all excited for this. now i'm scared it'll suck.Still tho, looks craaaazy. Watch it again as a gigantic nod to the 1960's (music, drug, sex references) and it's a hell of a lot more amusing. (dilated pupil fun)

Members SpectralJulian
What? It's a gothic chick flick. It's like a gothic sickeningly romantic fairy tale. I'm not really into gothic and romantic movements. Although I do like gothic architecture.
