Members Secret Seasons
Was thinking about this... there are certainly people of more real importance who have died, but in terms of sheer celebrity, fame and "icon" status... I can't really come up with anybody. Whatcha think, HC?

Members Secret Seasons
I think Lennon is the one that really sticks out... Cobaine is another one I overlooked... hard to quantify musician fame vs actor fame vs political/historical fame (ie Diana) but for some reason I'm oddly fascinated with this right now I'll add: Jerry Garcia

Members NetStar
I'd argue at least in terms of music, yes.And at least for me because I was too long for Cobain, and possibly too young for Diana.

Members Andre XXX
The last big one i can think of was Princess Dianna... Her death brought wordwide sadness as will Michaels... Although Michaels popularity had waned in the USA a bit.....he's a MEGA ,worshipped star in Japan, Europe and many other parts of the world... Dianna had a similar worldwide appeal as well... Elvis , hendrix , joplin..even they didn't have the world wide adulation like MJ does....
