I've used my 707 for more than 7 years, on its own or with other pedals and doing every sort of stuff, from death metal to pop covers, and it never had an issue; and at that time there was no pedalboard so that thing got thrashed around on a regular basis. I may just have to go pick one up used- I was gassing for a Small Stone, but this thing has tap tempo! The Digitech Turbo Flange also has step flange and the Marshall Regenerator has step phase too.
