Members Trashbag_Travis
personally i think the best overdrive/fuzz for a tele is a fuzz face. I personally have a silicon based fuzz face made by a man by the name of eric d. His fuzzes are out of this world, goes by "deviltone." if you can i would go to a place that you could test out a fuzz face type pedal with your amp and see if you like germanium or silicon. you can get overdrive-fuzz with your volume knob. get one. Members TheCardiacKid
I'm looking for something quite thick sounding but still clear. WIIO, v1.
Members Echoes22
I personally thought the OCD was too bright sounding with my tele. I prefer tubescreamers for low-mid gain and use a Boss HM-2 for high gain.
Members Webinfront_
Also, I think Muffs sound best with Teles/single coils in general.

Members Monkeybot
Rats + Teles are Totally agree - I've kept my RAT around for 10 years or so just to use with my Tele. A tiny bit of dirt - Nice sound.(My OCD sounds great with it, too. RAT is the way to go...).
Members MrNixon
if you're looking for textbook distortion, check out the Fulltone GT500. I REALLY dug mine, and i'd still have it if i wasnt so pressed for money. The Keeley modded BD2 can also get you a nice palette of clipping/distortion as well... i dont think i'll ever part with mine!
Members Bobby D
damnit....EVERYTHING sounds better with a Tele i am really surprised HOW MUCH BETTER the Tele i now have fits in with my band's sound more than the strats did i love my Tele DEEEELUXE
Members damacy
RED LLAMA ! It sure likes some single coils. I remember it sounded great with my Strat. With the gain all the way down, it's the most tube-y sounding dirt I've ever heard. That's probably why Mr. Anderton named it "Tube Sound Fuzz". Members tattoedsailor
Really isn't much that doesn't sound good with a Tele. I'm really digging my Box of Rock and OD-3 through my Princeton right now.

Members OldCrankyDouche
I {censored}in love Teles. Just in case I hadnt made that clear yet. The Nashville has the Strat middle pup, and this one is just another "Vintage Single Coil". But I like the idea (and the sound!) of a single in the middle instead of the middle position just being bridge/neck like a normal Tele. I need to have it wired 3-way, as I NEVER used the 2-pup positions.
