Members _Idioteque_
Yes, it wasn't the best movie ever. No, it didn't really leave anything to be desired. The plot wasn't vague or confusing.

Members Dr.Pain-MD
I thought it was good and a lot better than any of the other movies that have come out lately, but not the best ever. That would be just silly.

Members Seth Carmody
I liked it...It was like The Matrix for atheists without the tiresome pseudo bondage aesthetic. Tell me about it. I'd never got around to seeing the matrix sequels and decided to download them on a sick day off this week, and dear god those films have not aged well. I honestly thought I was watching a parody, but I think even the film makers got sucked into that whole "what if the matrix were real" mindset that saw sales of leather trenches and clip-on shades soar in the late 90s
Members english_bob
No, it wasn't the best film EVAR, but it's the best I've seen in a while. I thought it did a good job of being a retard-o-plex filling blockbuster without being and infuriatingly dumbed down Michael Bay {censored}fest. That's the genius of it, IMO- it manages to be clever and original by the standards of Hollywood shabillion-dollar blockbusters- millions of people will watch a smart movie and it will make a {censored}ton of money, which might convince a few studio execs that letting Jerry Bruckheimer making movies for retards isn't the only way to keep up their profits. That's a good thing, right?

Members ninjaaron
It was nice. I liked it. The people I saw it with were all freaking out about how awesome it apparently was. I was still way more interested in the Melodica I just bought. But fun movie. Will watch again if I don't have to pay. Will not buy.
Members ninjaaron
a smart movie was it that? I must have missed the intellectually challenging bits. Pan's Labyrinth was smart. Inception was just fun. It was kinda like Oceans 11 for brains instead of casinos, but Oceans 11 was a little less predicable, and had funnier dialogue. Members plushpile
Did the whole cinema groan with the final cut for you guys? Everyone sort of went 'ooooohh' as if they wanted to see if it fell or not, it made me giggle that they all needed that as closure.

Put it this way- if you divided every film ever made in to two piles- "dumb" and "smart", which pile would Inception be in? yes, Pan's Labyrinth was probably "smarter", but how much less money did it/will it make? Members placebo62
Basically a film designed to make action movie buffs feel smart. On par with a decent Bond movie. Not my bag really.
