Members theGhost
GNX3 also had an 8-track recorder that you could use as a looper of sorts - and they can usually be had for pretty freakin cheap if you can find one used (like forum members shamlessly spamming :poke: )
Members MrNixon
the Korg AX1000/1500 units were {censored}in great at the time. save for the lag between patch switches. the loopers with their expression pedal control were very fun to use. Members fly135
Zoom 707. Can record to CompactFlash too if I recall. It's the 707 II (dont think the 707 has it)and it uses SmartMedia. It was such a pain that I found it useless. The king is the GNX4 with the GNX3 in second place. Full 8 track stereo recorder/looper that allows post editing of your loops. I.E. deletion, level adjustment, and right left balance adjust. Both are great but the 2Gig CF on the GNX4 vs 128MB Smartmedia on the GNX3 makes the GNX4 a no-brainer. And I left out a lot of important differences like the GNX4 has USB and CF to drive mapping.

Ah, gotcha. I forgot that they made a few versions of that and I also forgot that it was SmartMedia. Never even heard of it.
