Cheap electric 12 strings...

So the Johnny Marr thread got me thinking about those fantastic tones he used to get in the Smiths... and I have always wanted an electric 12 string for some songs in my band, but dont have the Rickenbacker cash :(

 

So what other alternatives are out there?

Is that right Phil? Hmmm... I have to admit, i dont like the look of the Danos, but thats quite a glowing praise... maybe i should give them a look in...

 

I like the look of these Stargazers, but over here they are stupid money.

i'm gasing somehow for a italia rimini, i only want a 6-string but the 12 strings are also tempting:

they come also in other/normal colors and were about 350-450pound.

 

big problem i guess, they don't produce the rimini modells anymore, righties might be available on the bay, but lefties are almost nowhere :(
