I then played the model that's like double the price (as103?) and although it looked a looked fancier and had teh flamed maplez, brighter pickups, I actually preferred the cheaper one. Members Pewtershmit Posted February 19, 2011 Members Share Posted February 19, 2011 I actually literally just got one in the shop. the price is right for sure, the one I got plays a little stiff, but nothing a little set up cant fix. i would feel wrong playing an ibanez semihollow AS73 casino ftw they've been making hollowbodies much longer than the above body style. I may well, by the time I'm in a position to make some use of a jazz guitar, be in a position to buy something better (we're talking years here ), but those look cool. I'll eventually replace the pups, because I think they're lacking. Probably with some GFS Retrotrons. But otherwise, it's a very nice playing (and looking) guitar.
