I like the diy metal faceplate as well it was a bitch to bend!!! but worth it. cheers all FWIW i managed to record a much better (IMO) lead take (i improvised it all, every take was slightly diffrent), and because i was using a new camera/tripod, when i went to watch the upload vid...all i managed to film was...my crotch!!! (i just have a thing for matching heads/cabs) and since i have some left over snakeskin tolex...i could just use that up to cover the blue baffle part on the cab? that could look quite nice with the head (a full matching snakeskin cab would be "too gawdy") is there such a thing as "too much snakeskin?"
